The poppies are out.

It's poppy time again in the garden and they don't half make a splash of bright colour. I took these photos yesterday as the sun was out and I love that it caught a bee in mid flight in the picture above!
They are such beautiful flowers and the fact that they don't last long just makes them more precious I think. This one is a real salmon pink colour..

 I think that this one is called Patty's Plum, what a great name..

and some self seeded Welsh ones (and another bee!)..

Luckily there is still the promise of more to come..
