WIP times two.

I have one bit of work on the go that can be taken anywhere as it is summer holidays and I am now most definitely and officially a taxi.

This is my take on the felt applique pieces shown here by Sue Spargo.
I wish she lived in England as I would definitely go to one of her work shops.
There again, maybe I would rather move to Australia after the so called summer we have had here!

Not sure what it will be yet and the light isn't great but that's because it is tipping with rain outside.

My other WIP is the beginnings of a quilt of some sort from the 'Ten Little Things' pack by Moda that I bought.

I have gone back to my favourite 'Liberated Quiltmaking II' by Gwen Marston for some inspiration and am using a recycled cotton sheet for the white bits..

Just starting to play with the new pack of squares ('Ten Little Things' by Moda) and looking to my favourite Liberated Quiltmaking II by Gwen Marston for inspiration.

Hopefully by next weekend there will be some progress and some sunshine.

Back from a lovely couple of weeks in France.

There was a bit of this..

And some of this..
Boule and quoits

And lots of these..

Hanging baskets in Baynac

I just love it.
Cycling by the river

And to make it even better we had family house sitting and they did lots of weeding, how great is that!
Thank you.

I did a bit of hand sewing to make a piece for a cushion cover but it hasn't got any further yet.

And I just happened across these beauties in Soft Touch in Tavistock yesterday and couldn't resist them.

Not sure what they will be yet but I'm thinking probably a quilt!

And am really inspired by this for my stash of wool blankets.
